Rate limits

Each client may make 120 requests a minute by default. GET /me shows your limit (rate_limit_per_minute); we can raise it for you.

Every answer carries X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining and X-RateLimit-Reset. Over the limit you get 429 RATE_LIMITED with a Retry-After header in seconds.

  • A batch is one request. POST /batch/…, POST /acks and a 500-row price push each count once — load 20,000 prices in 40 calls, not 20,000.
  • Throttle a little under the limit on your side, and obey Retry-After when it comes.
  • A 429 is never a failure of the record. Wait and send the same call again; with its Idempotency-Key that is always safe.
Terminal window
curl -si "$SLFLO_BASE/me" -H "Authorization: Bearer $SLFLO_TOKEN" | grep -i '^x-ratelimit'
# X-RateLimit-Limit: 120
# X-RateLimit-Remaining: 119
# X-RateLimit-Reset: …

How the sample client waits on a 429 is in Retries, 429 and token rotation.
