Take part cash and part post-dated cheque, and follow the cheque
On the Nile Fresh day, Nile Market owes 1,368.00 for its morning invoice. It pays part in cash and part by a cheque it dates two weeks ahead. This example follows both payments, then the cheque until the bank pays it — or returns it. The figures of 7 October come from running that day through Slflo. Who: rep and office · Where in the cycle: Collect.

What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”- Cash: the 700.00 stays in Omar’s hand until it is banked; End of day expects it until then.
- Cheque: a cheque still With the rep counts as not handed in at End of day until the office presses Received at office. Counting it when closing the day doesn’t move it.
- ERP: both payments are in the payments feed, with the cheque’s state and any bounce.
- Audit: “Moved a cheque on”, and “Reversed a payment” for a bounce.
